Tuckers catfish haven is more than just a seafood restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are also served. The atmosphere is truck stop homey and the food is flat out down home good. I've eaten breakfast there once a week for about a year. I try to get in early or late to avoid the crowds, especially the firefighters and police officers. They eat there in herds on Saturday mornings. Breakfast items range from oatmeal to breakfast tacos and the service is outstanding. The waitresses are efficient, courteous, and willing to make menu substitutions or reduce servings (which reduces cost). Make sure you ask for their home made hot sauce The lunch buffet, I have been told, is just as good with a real variety of vegetables and entrees to choose from.

There are smoking and non-smoking sections and the food is modestly priced, ample, and yummy.

Best Breakfast in Texas Gone Bad

3 years ago I loved this place now the service is terrible and the food quality is gone. Haven't had a good breakfast here in over 6 months. Food arrives late, cold to warm and getting waited on is a challenge. I am giving up on this place. I am voting with my feet. Goodbye Tuckers
