very small butterfly shrimp. not the best catfish at all. would not go there again,and it's just down the street.

Fast food seafood and Southern fare with all the trimmings at reasonable prices.

What started off in Donelson, Tenn. as "Mr. D's" in 1969 has evolved into fast food chain "Captain D's" with restaurants across more than 20 states. Touting high quality and quick-service seafood and traditional Southern fare as its mission, the menu offers hand-battered fried, baked, broiled fish, shrimp and chicken dishes. Starters include cheese sticks and jalapeno bites, seafood-stuffed crab shells and side items like corn, baked potato, coleslaw, tossed salads, hushpuppies and desserts.

Previous postee might have been there on a "bad" night. Captain D's is The best seafood. I prefer Captain D's over Red Lobster, and it blew Fish On Fire out of the water if you will. Eat Captains Seafood Sampler, and you will not be sorry. It's "Captain-licious". So I say to you sir or mam who has written the post about the small butterfly shrimp, and "I would not go back there again, and its just down the road". Give me a break. Try it again. This time get the green beans... You will love em!

• Cons: Not enough in the metroplex, and in Texas
