Not worth the $$

I have been a long time customer (3 years). Shelly (owner) and stylists are very arrogant after a while and seem to only care about the amount of money you spend at their salon. The services are decent, but nothing really special compared to other great salons in DFW. Definitely not worth the high prices. Oh by the way, prices increase frequently. Several times I went in I incured extra costs that I had not before. If you do go, make sure you check your statement, as surprise/ accidental costs do appear. Also had extensions done (very poor quality- they showed!!). Run the other direction!!!!!!!!!!!

• Cons: Poor service. Will drain your wallet!

best highlight ever

I loved Alisha and the whole staff. Even the owner Shelly came by to say hello. Alisha took her time and really did a great job. I would highly recommend it.

My new hair is GORGEOUS

I got extensions today and they are amazing!! I want everyone to know. I got extensions last year somewhere else and they were just okay. I could tell these were going to be better before we ever even started. Chris was very professional. Probably the most professional stylist I have evr been to. The salon itself is so different beause everyone helps everyone there. He needed some help today and without even asking one of the other girls just came up and started helping him by handing him stuff. It was great. We started on time and when he finished, my hair was made over. I am so happy. Thanks guys.

• Cons: not cheap, but neither am I

I have gone to Stylemakers for 5 years now. I have had every type of hair extension they do. I lke the Ultratress the best so far. I have always been pleased and they are very friendly. Shelly, you're the best!!

Great salon...I've gone there for years

I have gone to Stylemakers for 6 years and I am an attorney in Downtown Fort Worth. I have never had a bad experience at Stylemakers...In fact, it is the best service I have had at any salon and I am 48 years old. I know Shelly and her staff personally and they are caring and professional individuals. I am always amazed at their level of integrity and expertise.

finally!! a fabulous colorist in Fort Worth

i've been looking for that natural blond my whole life, and gotten it a very few times, usually out of town. No more! Chris at Stylemakers Salon in Down town Fort Worth, nailed it.

He recently moved here from Miami, and not only is he extremely tallented, he's also very sweet, proffessional, and great looking too!

I really hope he stays here, or I guess I'll have to travel

Great place for extensions

I was very happy with the way they did my extensions. I have had extensions 4 times and this was definately the best. They also did a really good layered cut after they put in the extensions. It looks real natural.

• Pros: This place isn't cheap but they really know what they're doing with extensions
• Cons: I can't think of one
