Downtown Ft. Worth bar and grill serves up signature Chicago-style deep dish pizza

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
The bustling corner bar and grill stays true to its Chicago beginnings with vintage art deco posters, checkered tile, and comfortable booths in its L-shaped layout. The family favorite is known for its signature deep dish pizzas--with flaky pie crust, hearty tomato chunks, and mozzarella--and for good reason. This pizza is among the best in town for those seeking a departure from cardboard crust and grease. The menu also includes everything from salmon to sirloin.

It is a complete mistake to attach this location to the great pizzeria Uno & Duo in chicago. This place is a complete fraud. Under cooked, horrible service... I mean you have the perfect recipe for dough and pizza, yet they can not cook it right. When brought to managements attention, they advised its suppose to be that way. Seriously..

I lived in chicago for 18 years, eaten at the original countless times. Its not suppose to be that way..

  • Pros: Ceaser salad, free drink refills..
  • Cons: to many to list
