Love the Quality Inn Creekside

We just got back from Gatlinburg last week and stayed at The Quality Inn Creekside for the 5th time. This is our home away from home in the Smokies. The staff is always friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a 5 Star hotel, don't stay here but if you want a nice, convenient place that is near the best restaurants, by all means give it a try. Be sure to check out The Smokey Mountain Brewery just behind the hotel. It's a MUST visit and an easy walk from your room.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Memorial Day weekend 2004 - We have a small dog that we travel with and needed a hotel that accepts animals. This hotel does; BUT!!!! the rooms they reserve for animals are like primitive hunting camps. Most of the light switches did not work. The toilet flooded the afterthought of a bathroom in our room and they had to call a PLUMBER. There was a window unit a/c that didn't work well at all! When it was on you couldn't hear yourself think, let alone anyone in the room talking. The "lighting" in the room was HORRIBLE. The beds felt like you were sleeping directly on the boxsprings. The paneled walls made the room terribly dark even with lights on. We will NEVER spend another penny at this place!!!!
