OUTSTANDING !!. My only regret is that it took me this long to find Emil and his family run service center. For many years I dealt direct with Thoroughbred Motorcars for my service needs. Over the past four months (and thousands of dollars) I have been trying to resolve a reoccurring problem with my Jaguar XJ8. Upon my first visit - Emil took the time to understand my problem and test drive my automobile. He immediately identified the problem (something multiple service shops could not do) and had my car completely repaired within one day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ! After months of frustration and expense Emil and his crew did what I was beginning to think was impossible.

This service center truly gives you the feeling that you are not an imposition on their time but rather the reason for their time !! All of my service needs will now be taken care of by Emil and his staff at AutoTech.

Please do yourself a favor and check them out.

Changed Price and Did Unnecessary Repairs. I went to Auto Import because of the good reviews for a problem with a control arm and CV joint. On the phone, they said it would be around $200-$300. When I arrived, they said it would be around $600. They then called and said I need more repairs adding to the total. When I got my car back, it was $1800. My insurance company would not cover all of the repairs because he said they were unnecessary even though Auto Import assured me that if I didn't do what he said my car would not run proper. I will never return because the pricing was not honest or consistent.

Best import auto shop in Middle Tennessee. Autotech is the kind of shop you want to drop by even when your car isn't broken. Emil, the owner, is a very smart man with a great personality. They are incredibly busy - you can barely squeeze your car onto the lot - but he always remembers every detail of my car and anything I said during my last visit. I have a high-mileage Saab and have thought about ditching it several times but Emil convinced me it was a solid vehicle and has rebuilt it into a near-new car that I really love to drive and will probably run to 300,000 miles, at a fraction of the cost of a new one. He takes the time to explain and show exactly what has gone wrong with my car and why, and I have always felt 100% confident about the diagnosis and cost estimate (it's never gone over, usually less). I am sure if the people who posted the bad review had taken that car back to Autotech Emil would have personally fixed and guaranteed whatever was wrong. Because that really doesn't sound like something that would happen under his supervision, and I'm sure he would never let any car go out of his shop like that.

High-dollar Xterra, money well spent. Based on City Search reviews, I chose Emil and Autotech to assess and repair a 2001 Nissan Xterra that had been sitting for over 2 years. Autotech checked the vehicle from bumper-to-bumper and informed me of the inspection results and their recommendations. I sent the vehicle ti to them by their suggested towing company (good experience) and trusted Emil to do what was needed and what was right. The Xterra was put in a safe and reliable condition with a list of services performed that is too long for this forum. In addition, the vehicle had been detailed as well as repaired. Certain deteriorated plastic body parts were replaced, rear bumper straightened, furnished body accessories installed (bumper guard, nerf bars, rear light covers and others), all to perfection. The Xterra is a "new" 10 year old vehicle, essentially suspended in time, and I could not be more pleased with the value provided by Emil and Co. With new wheels and tires provided by Discount Tire of Mt. Juliet, it may just be the best looking, best running 2001 Xterra in TN. My compliments to Autotech. They have earned my business with quality, competence, honesty and value.

Dangerously Incompetent. Worst most incompetent mechanic it has been my displeasure to meet. Claimed to have replaced valves but car ran worse when finally returned. Upon inspection by competent mechanic valves were not replaced and looked as if they had been adjusted by an idiot (2 were nearly completely tightened shut). Later the clutch cable melted because these guys wired it to the exhaust - seriously. I met another customer who came away with a cracked head. Run away.

My new auto shop.. Got my Volvo XC 90 repaired for less than 1/2 of what the dealership and another "import specialty" shop wanted. The other two shops were charging to replace two controls arm when only one needed replaced. I also got an oil change and tire rotation on top of the repair and it was still cheaper then the other guys quote.

I was hit on the interstate in the front wheel by a guy doing 70....was going to trade my car in but now AutoTech made me happy with my car again so I'm going to keep it. They got the work done in one day like they said they would and even gave me back my car cleaner then how they found it. I have never recommended a car repair place and never thought I would but I'm saying I will not go anywhere else in Nashville and I hope they are around for a very long time.

Hands Down...BEST in Nashville!. Emil, Donno and the rest of the Autotech family REALLY know how to satisfy their customers! One of my co-workers had referred me to these guys and after taking my SUV to them one time, I knew they were my first choice anytime I had an issue with my vehicle here in Nashville. So far, they have helped me change a fuel pump (about $250 less than another mechanic quoted...and that wasn't the dealership) and they just did about $3300 worth of body repair after a collision I had. Progressive said these guys were very easy to work with and they replaced my entire front end in about a week!

Donno really treats you like a friend and not just a customer. He remembered work they had performed on my SUV about 2 years ago...even when I couldn't!

Thanks a lot for your help guys and keep up the good work!!

Great Job Guys!!. I was very saddened when I found out that my 2000 Firebird needed a new engine. It was trashed! HOWEVER, Emil found me an engine with only 17K miles. I just got the car back today and let me tell you, they did an awesome job! My receipt showed everything itemized and the prices were VERY fair. Emil explained to me exactly how to care for the engine in order to adhere to the warrantee requirements. Very kind and helpful staff. Thanks AutoTech!!

Excellent Work and MORE!. I had my car taken to another shop that charged me $100 just to tell me what the engine light had said. I then took it to Autotech and they gave a quick assessment and performed a LOT of work on my car in a reasonable amount of time. (Head gasket replacement, head shaving, water pump, tuneup)

I couldn't ask for more and if anyone has trouble I'll know where to send them

I am so Glad I found Autotech. After taking my BMW to the dealership on Armoury Dr. I decided to get a second opinion and I am sure glad I did!! Not only did BMW want double for repairs needed but they misdiagnosed...saying I needed new bushings. Emil told me my tires were dangerously worn and that was what was causing my car to shake...not the bushings. He did necessary repairs at a fair price and my car is like new again!!! Thanks Emil!!!!
