Faccia Luna makes awesome wood stove pizza as well as other italian and greek dishes. The have a number of specialty pizza but I would recommend the white pizza with tomato and garlic. They also make a very good vodka sauce to go with a pasta of your choice. It's a very popular restaurant but the wait is usually not too bad.

THE BEST PIZZA & PASTA

If I were to go anywhere in State College for Pizza or pasta, this is it!! Their homemade pasta is not super thin like the ones out of the box. And their pizza...there are no words to describe it! It was the best pizza ever. The sauce of crushed tomatoes (you can order it with regular sauce, although I wouldn't know why) was not overly sweet, and there was not too much of it. And so, despite the outside, it is an excellent place to go sit and eat.

P.S. the ovens are wood fired brick!

Great pizza

Faccia Luna has excellent brick-oven pizza! The only drawback is that there is usually a wait. My favorite is the Margerita pizza.
