Faccia Luna Pizzeria is a nice place to eat. They make wood fire pizza there and it is very tasty. They also have a large variety of options for other Italian food. We used to take potential grad students here in order to convince them to come to the school. The success rate for Faccia Luna was very good, so that should tell you something.

THE BEST PIZZA & PASTA

If I were to go anywhere in State College for Pizza or pasta, this is it!! Their homemade pasta is not super thin like the ones out of the box. And their pizza...there are no words to describe it! It was the best pizza ever. The sauce of crushed tomatoes (you can order it with regular sauce, although I wouldn't know why) was not overly sweet, and there was not too much of it. And so, despite the outside, it is an excellent place to go sit and eat.

P.S. the ovens are wood fired brick!

Great pizza

Faccia Luna has excellent brick-oven pizza! The only drawback is that there is usually a wait. My favorite is the Margerita pizza.
