Whenever I want to go to a nice restaurant where I know I can get great food, Spats is amazing! Their food is so unique and different in than other places in State College. It's always nice to treat yourself to something other than burgers and pizza. I recommend the duck.

Great food and service. Plan to spend a little more than fast food....but well worth it. If you like to try new things...this is your place. Highly Recommend

This by far is my favorite restaurant in State College. The food is Cajun/Creole New Orleans style. There is so much to choose from - all delicious. You can even get alligator! My favorite is the gumbo soup. The only drawback is that they do not take reservations, which isn't much fun during a crazy football weekend.
