I moved to Salem and decided to try a salon up here instead of driving to my old stylist. I chose salon phoenix because it looked nice. I made a big mistake. Instead of doing an all over weave they pulled my hair through a cap. This did not cover my existing roots nor did it blend my hair. The cost was two times as much as well. I really felt like the stylist did not know what she was doing. I am sure there are stylists there who know what they are doing but my experience was not good.

Great Experience

My husband and I got our hair cut here before a trip. He's always cut his own hair so was reluctant to go to a salon. I convinced him, and he's glad I did. Best cut we've ever received, and the staff was great. We were more or less a walk in, but they found the time. I normally don't chat much with the stylist but the one we went to was great. We all chatted as if I've been going there for years. They are friendly, helpful, and if you are brave enough to say 'I leave it to your best judgement' you won't be disappointed.

I'm going back again to get another cut and a color.

• Pros: Great staff, great service
• Cons: I can't find a website, would love to be able to email appts.

best hair anywhere

everyone is soooo friendly there, you can tell the staff there truley get along. Unlike other places I've been that you could cut the air with a knife. I was extremely happy with my hair cut and style
