A decent place to get used gear by Megan J. at InsiderPages
Contributor at Insider Pages
It's a large store full of used kid clothing and gear (toys, clothing by the truckload, baby gear, even maternity wear). Sometimes you can find something really great, especially if you go often enough to sort through the new inventory they constantly take in. They have lots of cheap items that you wouldn't want to spend a lot on anyway, like blanket sleepers and jeans, for your kids who are going to just wear the stuff out. BUT, bad customer service. The employees act as if they'd rather not be there, they can be unfriendly and unhelpful. AND, when you bring your own items to sell, they can be picky. They won't give you a price for your individual consignment items. Instead, they explain how they don't know what the prices are because they enter everything into the computer and it spits out a total price. This is simply something the workers have been told to say so you don't ever get to know what percentage they mark things up (like other consignment shops which generally give you 50% of whatever they make). On the plus side, you can get your money right away instead of waiting for the item to actually sell. So overall, I recommend this as a good place to get rid of your used kid stuff, and to find some things for your own use.

This recycling shop for "kids' stuff with previous experience" buys and sells gently used children's clothing, equipment and furniture.
