beautiful lakeside view

I stayed at this locale for a conference, and I really enjoyed my stay here. Though it's not a four-star hotel, it is clean and has a beautiful view of the lake. At the lake, there are different activities such as boating or fishing that guests can partake in. I recall feeling a sense of calm as I just stood out in the park area overlooking the lake. It's definitely a nice place to go for a short-distanced vacation with the family.

• Pros: great view, clean, courteous staff
• Cons: not too luxurious

Quiet beachside accomodations with ocean views and fine dining.

Reasonable Marina Hotel

Not nearly as luxurious as the close-by Embassy Suites, it is considerably less expensive. And while its not an ocean front hotel, many of the rooms offer nice balconies with views of the marina (I think its something like $10 more to have a view of the marina versus the parking lotpay it). They also offer free bike rentals (OK, theyre pretty cheap bikes, but still). Beware that I dont think the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, but its usually so cool here that it doesnt matter. Their restaurant is too pricey for the quality of the food, so I recommend eating elsewhere. The bar is OK.

• Cons: no a/c in room, fake fireplaces
