A darling motel designed for a quick dose of peace and quiet. This place is darling. The rooms are very nice. The two queen beds were so comfortable, with lovely high threadcount sheets, an extra pillow top, as well as an extra foam layer. I had a great night's sleep! The staff is wonderful. Thank you, Christopher. Everyone was very accommodating. They provided ice and towels endlessly. An added plus was the Westridge Market, down the street. Lots of prepared foods and an excellent selection of wine, which allowed a great picnic dinner on the porch. The breakfast set-up was generous, but not enough protein. Lots of cereal, fruit, coffee cake, scones, coffee and tea. My girlfriends and I are already planning a return weekend next month :-)…

Loved the upgrade motel. This is a 2 story upgraded motel with very clean, spacious rooms that include plush pillows and comforters, very comfortable beds that feel like memory foam, thick towels, and amenities. They offer free wi-fi that works most of the time. It is not a hotel, neither a "boutique hotel", it is really a motel where you drive all the way to the front of your room and there is no porter nor valet service. It has a wide welcoming glass walled "lobby" with free coffee and tea. There is a computer in the lobby. Capri Motel is conveniently located in the main street of small charming Ojai.…

Loved it. This was my second stay at the Capri. This time I booked the Deluxe room with a patio. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see the remodeled large tiled patios. I had my own private gate to access the pool area and more importantly the pool cabanas where my friend and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. Very comfortable and clean. Thank you again. Would definitely stay again. My husband and I decided last minute to go to Ojai to celebrate our anniversary. I read the reviews of the Capri, and I definitely agree with the positive posts. This is a little gem of a budget motel, nicely renovated 1950's style, with a clean pool and grounds that have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The retro-chic lobby contains fruit and coffee all day and night, with an extensive selection of DVDs for you to peruse and take back to your room to watch on big, flatscreen TVS. A great deal for $140 (on expedia), far better than staying in a generic Best Western. I would definitely stay again.…

Magical & hip. If you want to truly experience the beauty and hipness of Ojai properly you have to stay at the Capri. Great service, immaculate rooms, pool & spa. Clean friendly relaxing stay in a great location in ojia val. A up scale stay , we went out of season and found the Capri well run clean and friendy , and was very surprised and inpressed by the stylish rooms , big screen TV movies DVD player and iPod dock , microwave, fridge , and a lovley well decorated room with huge bed very comfortable,and in the morning a breakfast fit for a king ,all you need for a healthy start to your sighting day , As a owner of a bar & resterant ,and 18 years in the trade I would totally recommend the Capri. relax for a few days at a dog friendly spot. i spent a few days of my vacation this year at the Capri with the lady friend and our dogs. It's nothing fancy, but i was not looking for fancy. i just wanted to relax for a few days at a dog friendly spot. We were there during the week, and we were probably the only guests. it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. We could let the dogs go nuts on the big lawns while we swam and drank tall cans in the pool. Our room had a little yard attached to it that the dogs could snoop around in at night. The AC unit was loud, but who cares. all in all it was pretty prefect.…
