Aby's pizza was transformed into Aby's Mexican Restaurant a few years ago. However, they still continue to serve pizza. Being that they are on Main St. in Matawan, they are close enough to walk, and the pizza is about par with what you'd expect. However, the Mexican food is great. The service is great, and food is not too spicy. Perfect for the casual Mexican-food diner.

Given that next nearest Mexican place is inconveniently far away, you're really stuck with Aby's, which isn't a a bad thing at all. The food is great, but not the best Mexican food out there. The people there are nice. The food takes a while; I don't recommend going there if you're short on time.

• Pros: Authentic Mexican food. Very friendly service.
• Cons: Food takes a while to prepare.
