Terrible service! No one would even take our order!!! Very disappointed!

My wife and I have wanted to try Zio's for years. Today we had our chance. The restaurant (78th & Dodge) was not real busy. The server dropped off menus and said she'd be right back for our order. She eventually returned and asked us for drink orders, said again she would return to take our food order. She then dropped off our drinks, and once again said she would return for our order in a few minutes and disappeared. Sorry, three strikes and you're out. We went to Big Fred's --- and as always --- it was exceptional dining experience!
The customer is always wrong!

Ordered a pizza for carryout from the 132nd and Center store and discovered some of the toppings were missing. Called and spoke with "John" (manager) and was told the cooks informed him the pizza was made correctly. After several rounds of bantering back and forth and insinuations that I was "lying", I gave up. What happened to the concept of keeping the customer happy?! There are plenty of other pizza choices in town and Zio's just lost a formally loyal customer!
I thought I was home

I kept hearing from friends about this place. Took the family while we were in town- I thought I was back on the Northside (PGH)! Same old "family" business atmosphere, excellent pizza. The old thin boxes that burned your hand while carrying the pizza home-even the calzones are pretty good. Waitresses could be a little better.
- Pros: the pizza
- Cons: parking
Truly A New York Pizza!

Zio's pizza is fabulous!
The slices are thick and gigantic...definitely worth the money for a great slice of "heaven".
TIP-
If you plan on going to downtown Zio's during lunch..make it a very EARLY lunch...long waiting line(s)!
I love zio's

I've eaten pizza there since high school. This isn't your typical assembly line domino's pizza. This is great pizza with a wide selection of toppings at a pretty good price. No, Zio's isn't cheap, but it is worth every cent you pay. This is the kind of pizza you will feel good about eating, because you know you're eating something which was made with skill and heart.
