First things first...this is not a 5 star resort. But it is a great hotel for the money! I got a room for $50 via the internet. The beds were comfortable, the room was nonsmoking, had a fridge, microwave, coffe maker, a mini safe, and the staff was nice. And oh yes, a free continental breakfast which included cereal, waffles, doughnuts, fruits, bagels, muffins, milk, juice, coffee, etc.
All in all, this was a great deal for the money!!!!
- Pros: inexpensive, microwave, mini fridge, mini safe, coffeemaker, continental breakfast
Budget hotel offers standard amenities and low rates to road-weary travelers.

I was a little scared of this property after reading a review on trip advisor, however my worries were completely unfounded. Bear in mind, this is not a resort property, just a basic hotel with very nice staff. Our room (129) was very clean, 2 queen beds(great for kids), small refrigerator, nice pool, adequate continental breakfast, and good location right off of the loop on Tunnel road. Asheville is a pretty compact city, so location and getting around is not a problem. Overall, a great value.
- Pros: Value, Location, Large pool
- Cons: No coin laundry
