Keep your comments to yourself!. A particular gentleman who was assigned to the paint department asked me if he could help. I gave him a paint color that I wanted, and he took it to the back workshop to mix it for me. While I was waiting on the paint I walked several laps around the store. On about my second lap, near the door to the back workshop, (I was looking at pet supplies) I overhead the same gentleman telling another employee " did you see that young girl out there? She has picked out the uglyist paint color in the whole damn store. She must be colorblind or something." I couldn't believe what I was hearing! He knew that I was walking around the store, and he wasn't trying to be quiet about it either. Not only did I want to walk out of there and stiff them on the mixed paint, but I was too embarassed to even acknowlege that I heard him say that. It ended up being a very nice color in my home. I just think that man was very two-faced. Typical southern gentleman! Right! I have been a long time customer of Williams Hardware. I live right down the street from it. I am never going back. I would rather drive out of my way to Lowes to get paint. It's funny how one little comment like that can make never want to use that store again.
