Wonderful!

Go for a special weekend with your mate....
Pricey but worth it, some rooms are small but ours was so spacious.
You have to "appreciate" the club foot tub/shower, if you want a modern shower some other rooms have that.
Go have some wine each evening and meet the other guests.
We wanted to take our bed w/ us but just would not fit on top of our car!
- Pros: Breakfast, Sheets, Bed!
One of Wilmington's oldest, most elegant homes.

The Scene
This B&B inn was built in 1905-06, and a tasteful remodel has maintained its lovely turn-of-the-century charms. A majestically pillared portico guards the front door; the style is carried inside with Corinthian and Ionic columns complementing the 14-foot ceiling and plaster moldings in the parlor. Furnishings are traditional and antiques reign throughout.
The Details
Unlike many old-fashioned accommodations, this one feels airy and spacious. There is room to breathe as you laze in the sitting room overlooking the garden or sip coffee before breakfast on the lovely veranda. As for the morning meal itself, it is served on a majestic Sheraton mahogany table or tables for two in the dining room. All of the seven suites are tasteful and luxurious. Some have claw-footed tubs, while others are graced with sitting rooms and fireplaces. Smoking is allowed only on the veranda or in the well-ventilated library, which is paneled in Honduras Mahogany. Complimentary cordials are served here in the evening. Children over 12 are welcome.
