Quintessentially columbian---any visitor must try this landmark restaurant. A microbrewery with great prices, friendly/attentive service, delicious food. They throw a twist into the traditional American favorites...for instance, their burger with artichoke dip on it. Helpings are hearty. The only downpoint is that on Friday & Saturday there is usually a wait. But it is definitely well-worth waiting for. Good Food and Fun. Flat Branch Pub & Brewing is a great place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. During these times, it is usually quite crowded, with wait times often above 30 minutes. I personally very much enjoy the food. I usually pick from the items listed as the favorites and that has always served me well. Since they are a brewery, it just feels right to have a beer with dinner. They have a list of about 10 different types, ranging from Oil Change Oatmeal Stout to Honey Wheat, all of which I find enjoyable. Seasonable beers like Pumpkin Ale are always nice to try as well. Prices are pretty average for Columbia, about 8 or 9 dollars for an entree. It is a very enjoyable experience all around. Recommended.…
