Lack of service to bereaved unacceptable.. My nephew was buried in this cemetery in September. The loss was of course devastating. One of the reasons Mt. Olivet was chosen was due to the rules that only fresh, no artificial, flowers are allowed Spring to Fall, this of corse was not adhered to, according to our observations. Dates when items were to be removed from grave sites came and went, the removal being done weeks later.

The biggest issue I have with this company, is their dragging of their heels when time arrived to have the headstone, which was NOT purchased through the cemetery but from someone who had done an exemplary job on the headstone of my nephew's friend, buried at the head of my nephew, set, I don't know what is involved in preparing for a headstone, but the excuses are different for each person inquiring re: the reasoning behind the headstone being ready for more than three weeks now and still not at the grave. My nephew's 23 birthday is next week and we will probably have to go to a grave site with a tiny little sign stuck in the ground with his name on it to honor his birthday.

This is one of the most horrendous things that can happen to a family, to lose a family member so young with so much promise, and then to have to fight an uphill battle just to get his headstone at his grave is beyond incomprehensible, to me.…
