The Scene
This turn-of-the-century home boasts three stories, two of which display a large bay window; yet it's so elegantly proportioned that it still manages to feel intimate. Overall, the feeling is one of warmth and harmony. It attracts guests seeking a quiet getaway.

The Details
As you enter, you'll notice the exquisite original stained-glass windows and woodwork in the front hall and staircase. The latter was skillfully crafted by European immigrants from local butternut trees. Five guest rooms have been decorated with hardwood floors, Victorian antiques, stained-glass windows and Quesal light fixtures. All have fireplaces and private baths, and some include whirlpools.
