Schaffer's Antiques is one of those getting much harder to find antique shops - one where the owner is there to assist customers, answer their questions and look for additional items for them in the future. Warren is particularly knowledgable on American pottery, one of his specialties. He always has a good stock of Rosemeade, Niloak, UND, Weller, Roseville, etc. He's one of those rare dealers with an excellent eye for the unusual, regardless of field. He has a varied stock, all the way from tokens, pins and other various smalls to vintage calendars, prints, paintings and large furniture pieces. He has a large back room with old tools and farm items. He buys on site and I've found him to be fair. I stop in to shop there at least a couple times a month and almost always find something to buy.
