Good college bar

Great place for a couple beers during the week, but way too crowded on the weekends. Service is alright, but late at night it can be tough getting a bartender or waitress. Good place to watch the Michigan game and great spot for drinking games. No cover, but the drinks are on the $$ for a campus bar.

Students stop in for a quick bite or for a round of beers. The cozy atmosphere of University of Michigan decor--pictures celebrating Michigan victories in sports spanning over 30 years--has made the Brown Jug a Wolverine fans' favorite den. With plenty of booths and tables, it's a great spot to bring the whole gang. The food is deceptively good and there's something for everyone, including sandwiches, pizza, nachos, spaghetti and meat loaf.

Average but fun

Total college scene. Tables are great for quarters. Can get smoky at times. New flat screen TV's upgraded the place. Good place to get a beer.
