The Nantucket Historical Trust rebuilt this 1845 structure to reflect old-style island charm. Along with six adjacent or connected buildings, it houses 60 guest rooms. Keep in mind that the prime location right in town means that front rooms might get some outside noise. The trade-off, however, is convenience--beaches, shops and restaurants are just steps from the front door.

Most rooms are air-conditioned and feature canopy beds and private bathrooms.
