Best Thai
by escargot1001 at Citysearch
This place is great! The food is fantastic, the service is exceptional. Not a fancy place, but the food is fresh and very tasty. Prices are reasonable. Good vegetarian and good with special meal concerns.
I regularly travel 30+ miles from the 'burbs to visit, well worth it. Best Thai I have ever eaten.
In my mind this is what a restaurant should be; comfortable friendy environment and home cooked meals.
Curries are really tasty, golden triangles are wonderful, vegetable soup is the best.
- Pros: Tasty Food
- Cons: Restaurant is in an old diner, clean, but not fancy (a pro for some - it is about the food!)

This is a safe bet for take-out, fast food thai. Very yummy Drunken noodle chix. Oh, I want some now. I'm leaving work. NOW!
- Pros: Fast, prompt service w/ a grin
- Cons: decor, ambience
Excellent

Everything was in order for my basic Pad Thai meal. Their delivery driver was absent on the night I wanted delivery, but a five minute drive was definitely worth it. Kind and courteous staff. A limited but fairly priced menu, and a slight challenge on the parking. They paid attention to my special requests, made it just spicy enough for me, and were quite kind. Living just a few minutes away, this will become one of my regular food stops.
- Pros: service, location
- Cons: ambiance
Yuck!

What was one a genuinely good, inexpensive Thai restaurant took a turn for the worst in summer of 2004. I don't know if they got a new chef or are under new ownership, but I find their food inedible now. Their chicken is really bad...it tastes like soggy wood. It's a shame because I once really did like it.
It a hole in the wall - but it's Great!!!

I work across the street at "TOATC" & have never heard of it & then someone here goes all the time - so I started & I am hooked. They have great food & if you can get over the fact that it looks like an old bar-room you will love it.

Simply put, this is my favorite Thai restaurant around. It might not be the most glamorous dining experience, but you get great food at very reasonable prices! My roomates and I are regulars there and always enjoy the food and kind service. The head waiter is always kind enough to remember our "usual" orders and ask us how we are doing, etc.
Once you find it, you'll be glad you looked for it. It's down the street from the Arsenal Mall area, past all of the chain restaurants and such.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good parking, Great service
Don't judge a book by its cover

If you can get past the diner-esque outside enough to visit this little neighborhood gem, you will not be disappointed. The food is the best around (far superior to the nearby chain spot up the street in Newton). The service is outstanding, with all the care and attention to detail that only a family-run business can provide. Your water or tea is immediately refilled as soon as you take a sip! The prices are wonderful. Beer and wine provided, but not on Sunday (as of this writing).
- Pros: Great food, great service, great prices
- Cons: Not attractive
