Best suburban hair salon!!. I love love love Creative Expressions Salon in Arlington, Ma. I have been a customer there for yrs. and have never felt more at home in a shop. The most recent and exciting service that I had at C.E. was hair straightening. It was done about a month ago and absolutely the best thing I've ever done for myself :)

My fabulous stylist is Jennifer. I have(had!) wavy, dry and somewhat frizzy hair. Jenn has always led me in the right direction for cut, style and color. I've been so pleased with

anything she's ever done for me. The straightening process has gone over and above anything I had expected, I am THRILLED with the outcome. My hair is

very straight, smooth and silky, no words I could ever have previously applied to my hair :(

The process took about 3 hours and was painless. It looked beautiful from the moment it was done(and this was even before the 3 day no washing rule). The process was simple: Wash, dry, keratin solution and flat iron. I couldn't pin up my hair or wash it for 3 days, and

as Jenn said 12 times, "no tucking hair behind the ears!").

I was very excited to wash it on the 3rd day... I was so afraid my waves and frizz would be back... but it was

sooooooo easy to dry, took 10 minutes with a blow dryer,

no styling brush needed, only fingers(!), and it came out

straight, smooth and silky.

This is the hair I've always dreamed of; it's really chic, stylish, no frizz(even in humidity or rain!)and pretty.

I can't thank Jenn and the C.E. staff enough! I think this will be a regular gift I give to myself!!…

Great haircut at Creative Expressions!. I've lived in Arlington for a few years but was still driving an hour to get my hair cut. Over the past few months, I've tried a few local salons but haven't found any at which I felt comfortable AND got a great haircut. I had an appointment with Laurel at Creative Expressions this morning and she's fabulous. The atmosphere is so friendly and Laurel did a great short haircut on me. The prices are very reasonable, almost too low for the high quality haircuts you get there. I'll definitely be going back!…

Expressively creative and knowledgable staff. I've been a client of this wonderful establishment for a few years and I love the staff, especially Jenn for her styling and coloring, and Alan for helping me achieve the "right" eyebrows, not too thin, not too thick. They are both true artists!

Pleasantly surprised. I had been traveling an hour to get my hair cut and highlighted and was having difficulty finding a salon/hairdresser I liked in the Arlington/Boston area. I think I finally found it. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here - I had no idea what to expect. Jennifer was very pleasant, attentive and professional. She did a great job with my partial foil and my cut. She seemed to really know her stuff. The atmosphere was also very nice, even though you can't necessarily tell from the outside.…

A great place, great place.. I first looked into this salon because they sell Jane Iredale make-up. When I went in to poke arround I decided to book a haircut. After having my hair cut, which was the best priced hair cut I have had in over 3 years I knew I was hooked. I mentioned I was getting married in a month and the next thing I knew I was booking a blow-dry for the big day (didn't want big, complicated hair) and was getting a quick make-up consultation and booking my make up too.

I have NEVER felt my pretty and glamours. My make up was subtle yet glamours. The trick is to relax and trust the over all effect. My hair was perfect. I looked like a bride! I am told that Alan does a fabulous job with eyebrows too!…
