The last of the true family restaurants

Family-style dining is becoming extinct, as prices have climbed steadily
at casual restaurants in our area. The Greek Corner is still a fabulous value,
with reliable and delicious meals. Their gyro is hands down the best you
can find around Boston, the pastisto and spinach pie impressive, and
the appetizers are outstanding. Sometimes the service is slow on a
weekend evening, but that would be my only (slight) negative.
Go and enjoy!
- Pros: Delicious
Great food, but service is on the slow side by Allie M. at InsiderPages

This place has great food and good prices. Everything is tasty and cooked the way you like it. Great kabobs! Good pita bread. It's on the small side, so you might have to wait for a table at night. Service is on the slow side and not very pleasant if you get one waitress in particular. The other staff is all good, though.
Parking is very difficult (it's Cambridge!), but the place is right on the bus line out of Harvard or Porter Squares. I suppose you could walk from Alewife or Davis Square too, but it's about a 15 minute hike....
With its fresh, affordable dishes, this casual Greek eatery is a favorite among Cambridge residents.

In Short
Though there's little atmosphere and nothing trendy about the décor, the Greek Corner maintains a loyal, local following. The straightforward menu reads like a who's-who of Greek-American fare; popular items include char-grilled kebabs, spinach pie, fried calamari and stuffed grape leaves. Those in a hurry can grab a gyro sandwich to go.
Yummy Greek to go.

I've only gotten take out from Greek Corner and the Express shop in Harvard. We got healthy portions and everything was delicious. My favorite is the Gyro Platter. I wish they had flatbread instead of just pitas though. The staff is nice and helpful. Wish they delivered!
- Pros: Greasy.
- Cons: DELICIOUS, cheap

An excellent eat in/take out corner spot. All the food is good but the Avgolemono Soup, the Moussaka, the Greek Fries (with grated cheese, oregano and lemon juice) and the Special Gyro are especially fine. Beer and wine are served. Catering is available; it is reliable and reasonably priced.

This is truely a hidden gem in Cambridge. The food is fabulous, and cheap. I am not Greek so I can't tell if it's authentic or not, but food tastes great here, and there are a lot of Greek people in the restaurant. They have a good selection of chicken, lamb, beef, and seafood. You can get a sandwich with soup and salad for $6 and entrees are almost all under $10. It's right on Mass Ave and parkings are easy to find. Everybody should try it!
- Pros: Great Food, Reasonable Price, Good location
