WATCH OUT!!. Garbage company in my opinion and I would AVOID AT ALL OPPORTUNITY. Payed hundreds of dollars for a gift certificate for a friend's fiance's 30th birthday and they REFUSED TO HONOR IT, nor were willing to even try to contact me, how embarrassing, how horrific!

This occurred after coming 2-3 times trying to buy it in person and each time they were clearly ill prepared to do what I had confirmed earlier that same day was possible (they would not allow me to do it over the phone), to simply buy a gift certificate.

The co-owner (Jose) returned my call and appeared to be genuinely & deeply concerned and wanted to correct the matter right away, even offering free service and did want to be sure to get to the bottom of it all and would call me back. I explained that I would trust his honor and to not have to rush, simply to get back to me by the end of the week.

1-2 weeks later, no call, no text, no missed call received from him/them, no voice mail.

I just called them back and he was busy so I left a message.

2+hours later he was still too busy to get back to me even after explaining that I may have to take legal action to get my money back.

I had to request my credit card company to reverse the charge per this horrific (and possibly illegal) corporate activity and will have to see if filing a small claims district court law suit will be necessary.

High Prices but Good Service. I have to agree with the other review someone else wrote that charging a $5 fee just to walk in the door is ridiculous! The prices are high enough to begin with so to add a $5 charge for just using the salon is crazy! I've always told myself that I pay for the "experience." The head massage while being washed and the neck massage before my hair is cut. Unfortunately, the last two times I was there, the stylist or shampoo'er didn't give me the full treatment. This was very dissappointing as I treasure those times I can get myself pampered.

I think I'll be trying a different salon soon..just for those reasons. I have never had a bad haircut at Indra and the staff is nice. It's just too pricey and you don't always get the full experience.…

Best ever =). My first time going to indra I was impressed by the out look of everything. Indra is well kept and neat. my hair stylist was stephanie traverso, she did such a great job on my hair. I would deffinitly recomend going to indra and I also reccomend stephanie. =)…

class act. in the quiet little town of andover you can find a little slice of boston! indra salon is the highlight of the bustling main st. i walked in on a whim and was shocked at the layout of the place. stylist chairs as far as you could see, white on white everything, computers to check emails while you wait, it was breath taking. i didnt have an appointment so i ask the front desk who was available and who should i see and they introduced me to Sarah Sheppard. she was very warm and welcoming and spent alot of time asking me what i was looking for and making sure that her ideas and my ideas for my hair were on the same page. she was really fast at her work but not so much that i felt like i was rushed, it was the quickness that comes with mastering your trade. i just watched her in amazement in the mirror. when it was done i was so excited about how my hair came out i gave her a great big hug! if you havent been to indra salon yet i suggest you book your appoinment, and if sarah is available definately go with her! she is a doll!…

best stylist ever!!!. I recently had the pleasure of going to indra salon! I was blown away by the attentiveness of the people there especially Sarah Sheppard!! she took such good care of me. i was a dull brunette looking to move into something a bit more wild and she did such a great job. the cut and highlights she gave me were out of this world and i cant thank her enough for the job she did. i wont be going anywhere else from now on. sarah is my girl! Go see Sarah Sheppard @ Indra. Indra salon is the greatest! this place is amazing from the decor to the professionalism of the staff you cant beat it! I have been going to see Sarah sheppard at indra for quite some time now and im always impressed. she has a gift for mens cuts and yes even i need a dye job ever now and again and she does it with a subtle touch that keeps my need to remain young a secret. i recommend Sarah to all my lady friends and she does a great job on them as well. and for you guys out there who need a great cut but feel like you can only get it at a barbershop you are missing out on the experience of getting a great haircut by a lovely lady. MOST AMAZING HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER!!. As former Miss. Boston 2009 and model, I always have to have my hair "Camera Ready" Indra Salon has been doing my hair for the past few years and every encounter has been a FABULOUS one! The amazingly talented owners, April Lyn Graffeoand Jose Batistine are true works of Art!! They are so great at what they do. By far, there is absolutely NO one who can compare to the level of professionalism, style and creativity. Let's not forget about their staff of 42 professional stylist! They are all phenomenal. Jen Traverso and Samantha Andler are one of my true Favorites! Those girls really now how to make a girl look FAB!
