Always Fabulous

Glory has a space that can't be duplicated. It is so old, with brick walls and nooks and crannies. I love the style, the art, and it is candlelit like a cathedral. The menu always has fresh local fish, prepared creatively, and great bottles of wine by the glass. The bar is fun, with a wild reputation and lots of martini-drinking ladies-night-outers, and the rest of the place is devided into two soothing fire-placed dining rooms with white linen and smooth service. I haven't met the owner but she is beautiful and is always on the premises.
- Pros: Beautiful food, comfortable space, great staff
- Cons: No more shrimp appetizer!!!
good food, long wait
by john1440 at Citysearch
service was an issue. 45-50 minutes waiting for a meal after ordering made me want to leave.
the16 oz black angus N.Y. sirloin was the best i have had in recent memory. i was very impressed. Thick, juicy, and very tasty. add the butternut squash rizotto and the garlic spinach and it would have made my meal perfect except for the wait and the fact that the meat was barely warm. GET THE SIRLOIN!
my wife had the10 oz. tenderloin which was mediocre and disappointing and barely warm. my daughter had the jack daniels hamburger which she said was delicious, except the bacon was cold and the meat barely warm.
the waitress was nice, except she disappeared.
Better than Abe and Louie's

I just had a sirloin at a business dinner at this place and it was THE best I have ever had. 25 of us had a meeting there on Monday night. Our waitress was delightful and the food was truly impressive. Looked like a fun bar scene too although we sat in the dining room. Get the sirloin!
- Pros: food atmosphere service
- Cons: no lunch
Best spot in Andover
by ts6372 at Citysearch
By far my favorite restaurant in Andover. Relaxing and chill ambience which helps to set any mood. Fun promotional nights, djs, performers and live music in the lounge keep things interesting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Food is absolutely delicious with a different menu to look forward to every season. I always take out of town visitors in as a "must go" spot in Andover.
- Pros: friendly staff, amazing food (tapas, bar menu are must tries), innovative drinks and classy atmosphere
- Cons: parking is tough on busy nights, limited lounge tables
HORRIBLE SERVICE! AWFUL STAFF
by Jenniferss at Citysearch
Although the food is "decent" ... the staff at this "wannabe" upscale diner needs a lesson on manners. especially the owner.
if i was starving... i would never set foot in this uptight dump again.....nor, will any of my associates...
(leave it to andover).... noses up in the air, high enough to scrape the ceiling.
- Pros: ah... the food is pretty good, kind of over priced though
- Cons: the MISERABLE UPTIGHT RUDEowner, the horribly mannered staff, the cheesey over 40's atmosphere
Poorly run - NOT RECOMMENDED - NO PARKING
by amyjop2003 at Citysearch
I have eaten here many times and now I am not sure why. I find the food ok the service ok but the pricing is ridiculous! The "owner" if you will, I really don't think should be running a business. Very poorly run. The lounge entertainment when there is a dj is great but the attitude of the entire staff including the higher ups is horrible. I really don't think I would return again, unless it was under new ownership.
- Pros: dj, good lounge
- Cons: no parking, attitude, poorly run
Very attractive

Very attentive service, with good quality food, in a very attractive atmosphere. Not a place to bring younger children. Over-priced.
- Pros: Food, Service, Ambience
- Cons: , Price, Price
