Ice cream lover's Mecca

A little anecdote to share....when I was pregnant with my last child, who was due in September, I CRAVED Kimball Farm banana ice cream. Don't ask, maybe it was a potassium deficiency. I was in Maine for the month of august and had to drive home a few times for my doctor's appointments. I always stopped at Kimball's in Carlisle on my way back to Maine. I would have a banana ice cream cone for the road, and would also have them pack a couple of quarts to take with me. Well never mind the delicious ice cream, which would have been satisfying enough, they also packed my precious quarts in ice and plastic bags so that they would survive the trip back to Maine. They couldn't have been nicer or more understanding regarding the desires of a pregnant person! To this day I still crave that banana ice cream, and order it each and every time I go. Occasionally they are out of it, and I have to resort to some other flavor. While they are all equally creamy and amazing, nothing matches that banana for me~no nuts, just the pure natural flavor of banana. Whatever your craving, Kimball's will satisfy it! Whether you venture to Carlisle or Westford, it is well worth a trip from anywhere. The mini golf in Westford is also a nice aside, but go for the ice cream. You won't be disappointed!
- Pros: best ice cream on earth
- Cons: lines can be long but worth the wait

Yes, it will melt all over your hand, that's what cream does. I would like to give Kimble's a bad review just to keep some of you away. But integrity rules. This ice cream is worth the wait.
- Pros: flavors, quality, lots of parking
- Cons: lines

The ce cream is the best around and the lines are nonexistent compared to its sister creamery in westford. The worst thing is when they close in the fall.

Kimballs is a great place to take the family, great ice cream, huge servings and a nice petting zoo for the kids, they can be a little pricey, but it is worth it, a great place to spend the afternoon with the family

Three generations of my family love Kimballs. I live in Texas now and won't touch this stuff down here. This is the best ice cream on Earth. I would have it as the last meal. Huge portions, Creamy dreamy, yummy delicious, My husband is lactose intolerant, he craves this creme de la creme of ice creams. We have lived all over the world and this is the best. Worth the lines, traffic, plane trip, wish they delivered to Houston. All heaven. We cry when we leave. have to wait a whole year.
- Pros: great value, yummy, great, the best,, bless those cows
- Cons: , the year wait.

Actually, the original KImball Farm Ice Cream Stand is on Rt. 110 in Westford and well worth the trip for it's size, ambiance, golf and live animal petting zoo, not to mention that phenomenal Ice Cream. You've got to try the Cherry Vanilla Chip!

Kimball's Farm Ice Cream is absolutely the best. Now found in several locations across New England (Westford, Carlisle and in NH), Kimball's Ice Cream is the ice cream we all crave - creamy, yummy, and in very, very large proportions. It is worth the trip!
- Pros: huge servings, tons of flavors
- Cons: crowded on weekends
