Did I mention THE BEST front desk people? When I think of Moodz, I feel this...Special, pampered, happy, & calm. UNDERSTOOD. . I've moved away from both Acton, and Wayland, and I keep going back. I can't think of a more skilled & compassionate group of professionals. I have tried just about every treat they have- excellent and 1st class. I can't say enough nice things here- did I mention the boutique? Jewelry? Cosmetics? Go see! You'll love them! Thanks to all!

Great salon!

Moodz is such a wonderful salon! I have been going there for years. Also had them do my hair and make up for my wedding day and they did a fantastic job. Also had facials and a brow waxing done there, again, great job. I highly recommend Moodz to my friends and family.

I have been a long time client at Moodz, 10 years to be exact. I love it there, wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for all of my pampering needs. The massages are heavenly, the facials devine, love the salon and all of the nail services too. Always look forward to my next visit!

I have been going to Moodz Day Spa for years.. the reason is the way they treat me,and my hair.. I love my hair , and I want it to look good..it is stunning . I get compliments all the time. Silky and Shinny. Its because of the great cuts and the high quality colors, and the talented girls who know how to apply it. I understand they get good training.. . I always feel good when I leave there no matter what state i am in when i go in..and I definetly look better. My husband is very pleased..the more I get to know the girls there.. I love them. they are always very nice to me. they offer coffee or tea or a treat..nice music. its warm and cozy. .its a great place to spend time.. I highly recommend this place..

Best day spa!!

I moved to the area about 6 years ago and had to find a new spa to have all of my maintenance done. I tried Moodz and I wouldn?t think about going anywhere else!! I have tried probably about every service they offer and never have been disappointed. The hair salon is always clean, bright and cheerful. I have tried probably all of the hairstylists and I have never been disappointed. They always listen to what I want done to my hair and it always looks spectacular. The spa is very tranquil with soothing music playing. The facials and massages are the best! I love signature facial, it is the best of both worlds, lots of massage and a facial, doesn?t get much better than that!! The nail area is always very clean with almost too many colors to pick from! I wouldn?t dream of going anywhere else for my services!

The worst haircut I ever had! How'd this place get ranked as # 1? It shouldn't even be in the Top 100.

I got the worst haircut I ever had was at Moodz! My hair was butchered. The hairdresser was talking to a coworker the entire time she was cutting my hair and hardly even looked at me. She did whatever she wanted to do instead of listening to what I wanted. She even used a shaver on me to thin my hair after I told her that it makes my hair look like I have split ends. I'll never go back! Especially after having to sit in that chair for almost an hour, listening to everyone gossip about other clients and how my hairdresser's life is so miserable. If you're that miserable, quit!

• Cons: unskilled staff, hairdressers don't listen to clients, staff gossips constantly, hair clippings all over floor

Techs working who are not certified.....

I was recently in Moodz Day Spa in Acton with a friend of mine. My friend was having her nails and toes done as well as some other things....Her nail Tech who went by the name Rhonda became very comfortable and talkative with us which was nice. Until she began tell us that she was a liscened to do Esthetics but that that was it. She actually was in a way complaining that everytime she comes in she is "Stuck" doing the mani's and pedi's and she's not even licensed to do them!! I was shocked and immediately cancelled my appointment for the following day. It is very disapointint that such a wonderful company would hire someone to do a job that she clearly doesn't like nor is certified but also her unprofessional mannor was what upset me the most.....I don't recomend this spa to anyone unless they don't mind people who openly cliam to not knowing that they do.....................

Best Massage EVER!!!

I just wanted to say that I visited Moodz Spa a few weeks ago and had the best massage of my life (and I have had MANY) from a massage therapist there named Michelle.

She had this intuitive knowing about her touch which made every aspect of the massage truly unbelievable. I felt all my tension in my neck disappear. I highly recommend requesting her services if you are in need of a massage!

Gave me a great hair cut, I loved it!

After a horrible experience a few years ago with my hair, I was extremely reluctant to get my hair cut and took to trimming it myself. But a friend recommended Moodz, so I decided to check it out. As soon as I stepped inside, i realized that I was going to have a good experience. The atmosphere was fresh, sunny and modern, and the whole place had a sparkling clean vibe to it. I wasn't positive on what cut I wanted for my hair, but my hairdresser was super nice. She helped me pick out a cut that suited my face shape. Then she shampooed and conditioned my hair into silkiness. During the whole cut, she asked me friendly questions and made me feel relaxed. At the end, she made my hair look spectacular. When i went back to work everybody was complimenting my hair, and saying how amazing it looked. I would recommend Moodz to everybody! However, their Boutique isn't very good, the person working their was rude to me and the items for sale weren't that good.
