Great Running Shoe Advice!

I went to the Greater Boston Running Company in Lexington, MA and was so impressed with the attention to detail they paid towards making sure I was fit in the right running shoe. I've been running for years, which means I have tried a lot of different brands and styles of shoes and I've bought them from all sorts of stores. From now on, this is the store I'll ALWAYS go to for my sneakers!

I highly encourage everyone to give this store a try. You'll get fitted individually for what type of shoe works for you. They'll even watch you run and analyze your stride. It's really great, so I definitely recommend it.

Best running store around

This is my favorite store in Lexington. The people who work there know everything there is to know about running, running shoes, accessories, apparel, etc. They are all runners, so they know what they are talking about and always give great advice. And they have the best customer service-- they really take the time to get to know their customers.

They have a great selection of running, walking, and racing shoes- there are tons to choose froml! And they do gait anaylsis where they watch you walk and run to get you in the right shoe. I never knew what a huge difference it could make.

The apparel selection is awesome. I love Nike running and workout clothes, and they have a huge selection with all different colors. There are other brands too, but I am a sucker for Nike. :)

I have recommended this store to all my friends and have sent a whole bunch of people there.

I won't ever go anywhere else. :)

Shoes

My girlfriend and I visited the store to look at shoes. I never had a problem with shoes fitting or being comfortable however my girlfriend has. She has had consistent knee pains despite trying various shoes. The sales rep (i think he owned the store) took his time to try on a bunch of shoes to help both of us find the shoes that look good and feel even better. He took the time to find the "right" shoe........and the left one! Now I can run for a longer time, and my girlfriends knee pains are gone.

Seriously, a great way to find the proper shoe to meet your needs....marathon runner to begginer. I will buy all my running shoes there from now on.

New 2 Running?

I am have only been running since April and I needed some advice on basic running needs. The sales Rep. had me walk as he looked at my foot to ground strike. He then gave me multiple shoes to try on and test on a treadmill. There was NO pressure to buy the expensive shoes but more buy the ones that felt right for me. I ended up buying the shoes that I have absolutley love running in. The staff at Greater Boston Running Company are experienced and very knowledgable for any type of runner! The will always have my business!

Best running store around!

This place is SO awesome. There are 2 guys who work there who know EVERYTHING there is to know about running. One of them is an incredible marathoner- 2:18! Who wouldn't want running advice from him??!! They have a great selection of shoes- covering the whole back wall! And they have lots of apparel and accessories- anything you could ever need for running! They have a group of all abilities running together from the store on Tuesdays. I've only been to one but there was a great group out there on the streets of Lexington! I really recommend this store to anyone in the area looking for a "specialty" running store. They are AWESOME!
