I really enjoyed the gourmet foods I sampled at the Primo Bistro. They offer anything from French onion soup, to the house smoked salmon sandwich, to roasted free range chicken breast. This is a great spot for a gathering and you can be sure that the menu will have something for everyone!

Prima Bistro is a really great little restaurant in the heart of Langley, Whidbey Island. The food is french inspired Pacific NW bistro and it is delicious. The chef must have an adventurous streak with his sauces and sometimes unusual offerings. There are some regular things on the menu that we come back for again and again. Love the sweetbreads, calamari... streak frites and you cannot stop eating the french fries!!!
The service is excellent and the atmosphere fun... don't miss this place when you visit Langley.
- Pros: great atmosphere, deck, view, wonderful food
- Cons: none

This place is cool. The menu comes across as a little toity and "fine dining", but you can't really say that the vibe of the place in general is the same way. It's staffed and frequented by a lot of young locals, in addition to the tourist crowd. The owner, a Dutch ex-pat, looks like a drummer from a metal band. He knows his business, though. The bistro burger is a burger you can really believe in. All the food I've had there is great and appears carefully prepared. They take their liquor seriously, too: the vodkas have their own menu. The wines are housed in a special case so they can be kept open and serving glasses without ill effects to the vino. No disappointments at this joint.
