I am so thankful that I met nicole at aqua salon. She knows what she's doing, doesn't waste time, and is very sweet and friendly. You owe it to yourself to go see nicole for the best hair in town! I recomend highlights and a haircut!

I've been going to Aqua for at least a couple of years now, I can't believe it took most of my life to find a Styilist that I LOVE!!! I can truely call her an artist!.... Her name is MARTHA. She will work with you and your vision for your look and make you look amazing!!!! But she is a styilist that also has a vision of her own, and if you're not stuck in your ways, she can work her magic as an artist and give you a whole new look to make you even MORE beautiful !!! From her professionalism and expertise to her vision and personality, MARTHA is the BEST!!!!! And I get all that at a great price!!!!!!

Great Salon

I recently decided to give another salon a chance since my salon getting a little to pricey. I told my stylist Justine what I had in mind, and she listened and gave me a new idea for my color. Im so happy with the color and its great to have a hairdresser i can trust since im always open for change. All the other stylists there were nice and greeted me with a smile. I get so many compliments on my hair! Thank you aqua!

Great prices, service, and overall experience!

I love going here. I found Aqua back when I was living in Ann Arbor, and now that I live in Ferndale the drive is obviously much better! I forget the name of the girl I go to, but I believe it is Christina. I came to her from a previous stylist with horrible highlights.. really thick and many, many tones. She knew exactly what to do and had me fixed up in no time. The cost was way less than I expected, and I have been going back since. Yes, the salon can be a little untidy sometimes, but it's not at all dirty like some reviewers have claimed. I have never found the staff to be 'crazy' either. It's almost like we are talking about different salons or something.

I am never going anywhere else. My stylist is friendly, always knows what I am thinking and charges a very reasonable rate. I couldn't ask for more. The only thing I miss compared to past salons is some type of beverage service. Usually I bring a coffee or drink in with me, but considering my visits are usually 2 hrs I'd appreciate being offered a drink in case I forget. My old salon had mimosas and tea, but I suppose I was technically paying for the drinks considering how much my services cost.

Should of listened to the reviews!!

I went on citysearch before going to Aqua. I read the reviews, and some were not very good. I overlooked them though because the prices were good. Well, all I can say is... Listen to the reviews!! You definently get what you pay for! I went in their for highlights and came out with orange hair!! And the highlights dont even go to the roots. The place is kind of a dump, and everyone is running around like they dont know what their doing. I think I switched chairs like 5 times. What a mess.....

thought it was a great deal... got my hair done... and you get what you pay for..... i will NEVER go back there. and neither should you if you care about your image.

Not so great :(

First experience was ok, second was a tragedy. I left with my hair bright orange like a clown, the lighting inside the salon was low so I couldn't tell how bad it was until I got outside...reason for tears! So embarrassed to go to work the next day, then Amy fixed it the following night, it was blonde again, but severely damaged and fried after. Had to cut it much shorter - still trying to grow it back out from this debaucle. Needless to say, I never went back.

Best Haircut

The Arijana girl gives the best haircuts. Very professional and well educated in hairstyling. Would recommed Aqua to everyone, I will definetly be going back when I get all shaggy!
