Great Workmanship

Shane Stratton of Stratton Exteriors was great to work with. He did exactly what he said he would do and did it when he said he would. I had windows and siding installed and the workmanship was excellent. I asked dozens of questions prior to the job and he was very patient and answered all of them gladly. I would highly recommend using Stratton Exteriors.

New Carport

We recently had a carport build by Stratton Exteriors. We are very satisfied with the quality of work and the price. Shane was always very responsive to my inquires and kept me up-to-date with the process. We have several more home improvement projects pending and have every intention of calling Shane for those when the time comes. We are very satisfied customers!

No Service After the Sell

I had $6500 worth of windows installed in my home. Everything went well until I found that one of the windows was broken. I called Shane and asked what I needed to do to have it replaced. He was extremely short and unhelpful. When I placed the order for the windows, one of the reasons I went with Stratton Exteriors is because I was assured that everything would be taken care of if something went wrong. What I didn't realize is that replacing a faulty window would require multiple phone calls (one of which was the rude phone call to Shane), picking up the window myself, and installing it myself. This company has no intention of caring for customers after the sell.

Superb Home Improvement Contractor

I wanted to turn an unused, 2nd story deck into a sunroom. We had additional challenges with an existing office window above the deck and a large transom window above one of the entrances to the deck. Stratton Exteriors was able to suggest 2-3 different options for us to consider and we selected one that would require a small addition to the base of the deck to accommodate the half-moon transom window. The crew that worked on the project was polite and respectful. Even with the cold Dec and Jan weather and the holidays, the room was completed in a timely period. We could not be happier with the craftsmanship of the construction and the way the final product fits with our existing home. The siding is almost a perfect match and from inside the house, it is hard to tell the room is an "addition."

Even with the stringent Hendersonville codes requirements and inspections, the project moved right along. We had a huge storm come through yesterday (50 mph winds and 1 inch of rain in 30 min) and nothing leaked, creaked or required adjustment or repair.

We one other proposal for the work we wanted done, it was a few thousand dollars less than Stratton's, but the proposal was more for a glass box, than an actual room. For the quality, workmanship, crew and overall experience, my family and I could not be happier. I am not going to call anyone else for the 2-3 other projects I have planned over the next few months, like replacement windows and a front door replacement. I put alot of stock in quality and workmanship my experience with Stratton Exteriors and Shane, Dan and the rest of the crew was exemplary. I can't say enough good things about their work, and their results !

Quality & Integrity!

We used Stratton Exteriors for a recent project that was fairly extensive...new cement siding, trim, fascia, soffits, window wrapping, exterior brick painting, as well as new door & shutters. The project turned out beautifully. Shane was always prompt, efficient, professional & curteous - from start to finish. From the time we first called to set up an appointment for a quote to when the project was completed, he responded to all of our questions, concerns & even unexpected finds that were discovered in the remodelling process. We are very pleased & would highly recommend Stratton Exteriors to other homeowners looking for a company they can trust to do what they say they will do. It was not our lowest bid nor the highest but we do not think that just anyone would have followed through on all the detail that Shane did. We hope to use them again when we are able to do a porch addition.
