Throughly Disappointing

On first appearance, this looks like a nice establishment. The simple contemporary decor all within sight upon entering the establishment was impressive, however this was the highlight of the experience. The menu is fairly limited, implying perhaps that much thought was put into each dish. Furthermore, the waiter warned of 30 min + prep times on certain dishes, and one would think that everything much be created in small, individual batches. Despite these apparent promises, the food was disappointing. Additionally the server was uncomfortable with his work and I was appalled when my initial order was out of stock! The food was relatively bland and lacked complexity, not to mention it was all severely over-priced. Overall this was a throughly disappointing experience.

So dissapointing!

We had a great lunch at Logan in May 2007. We looked forward to celebrating our anniversary there in August. What a disappointment! The waitress seemed to be responsible for a huge interior section plus the terrace. I noticed a waiter tending to only one couple seated behind my husband. Would that he had been assigned to us as well. We waited an hour for very simple salads. Toward the end of his main dish, my husband asked for an additional glass of wine. It never came. We noticed the waitress setting empty tables instead. Wha? She never even suggested dessert. We cancelled the wine request and asked for the bill. The worst part is, I suppose, that we'd had such fond memories and thought this would be a great place for a romantic dinner. But what's the point if the service is abominable?
