Homemade Italian. by cindy c. at InsiderPages

The bistro has very good homemade Italian food. My favorite is the homemade gnocchi's although it is way too much food. As good as they are they just sink to your stomach like all gnocchi's. They also do a very good lunch buffet and prices are very reasonable.
My Favorite in Collingswood

Everytime we go to Bistro Di Marino we always have a great dining experience. Besides the fare being wonderful, I like the fact that it is located in a quiet setting which makes dining a little quieter, conversation easy flowing and creates a relaxing evening. I look forward to returning again soon.
- Pros: Ambience; food, service,
- Cons: None for me

how many is too many?
at last count , i counted at least 7 italian restaurants in dining destination, collingswood nj!
yikes!
but this one stands alone in value. i have eaten there several times and each time it seems to get better.
the lasagne beats anything mom made!
bring a great red wine, a few friends and make a reservation!
chef jim makes everyone feel at home at his place. they have expanded
THREE times since opening a few years ago. that says it all!
- Pros: best italian food value collingswood. period.
- Cons: stick with homestyle red sauces, avoid the more complex (marsala etc)
Excellent Italian bistro faire served in a buffet setting at a reasonable price; Reserve for evenings and weekends

I went to lunch with my colleagues; we enjoyed the lunch buffet. There was an excellent selection of Italian salads, soups, and entrees with a dessert of strawberries and cream. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. The setting was rustic with raw brick and mortar with eclectic jazz playing in the background. My colleagues really enjoyed it. One remarked that "It was the best chicken parmigiana I ever had."
We were in and out quickly with no problems with seating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Call ahead for reservations on evenings and weekends as the place packs quickly.
PS - One thing I really like are the fundraisers that are held there. It really gives you a sense that they are interested in the well-being of the community.
- Pros: Italian Food, Music, Setting, BYOB
- Cons: Parking, Seating on evenings and weekends

This Restaurant has change a lot of both mine and my wifes thinking of how good Italian food can be. I took my wife here for the first time on here birthday and it is not going to be our last time either. The food I can't say enough about and the service was right on point.
- Pros: Food
