SJF - Good to work with. Great company to do business with. Their entire staff is very nice. I have called a few times and spoke wth many people there. Each one was helpful and knew how to answer the questions I had. If I had one complaint, it would be that they sometimes don't have the rack sizes I'm looking for. There have been a few times where I called and they were out of stock on a particular (and very common) beam size. Though not a huge deal, it can sometimes be frustrating to call the "Nation's Largest" supplier and find they don't have what I need - but both times I was able to find a size that was close to what I needed - so no harm done.

All in all, I'd say these guys are among the best in the industry for pricing, availability and knowledge. Certainly better than the majority of the other ones I have called.…

recommended resource for material handling products pricing. I have used this several times in the past. . I have found the SJF site one of the better resources for information and pricing on warehouse equipment and forklift lift equipment. The recent upgrades to the online shopping navigation is a big improvement to the site. In particular, SJF's rack & deck in the past was a bit cumbersome to navigate. The new changes make putting custom configurations together for pallet racks and cantilever racks much easier and take half the time.

I found the recent revisions have shortened the process considerably on getting prices when comparing items as well. '

Good Site - Great Company. I just received some used racking I ordered a week ago and it's in great condition. If you didn't look at the inside channels (there is a little rust inside) you wouldn't know it's used at all. Rick was able to help me decide exactly what to get and why. Bad Bad Bad! SJF=Sloppy Job Freaks. These guys were sooo bad! inadequate plans, install mistakes, missing parts, wrong parts, bad measurements, no follow up, and too many delays and sooo many excuses! NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS!!! Classic con: low bid to get in the door with hidden cost that kept increasing once the job finally started - Dennis Bartholow forgot too many requirements and extra charges kept coming and coming!

Always the best.... These guys have the best pricing around - hands down. Their selection is also excellent. Plus - if they don't have it on their website - just call them. 3 out of the last 5 times I needed a specific size I called and they were able to find it for me. The guy I talked with on the phone also came up with a pretty clever way to reduce the total dollar amount of my order without sacrificing any of my needed functionality.

The only drawback to ordering their equipment online is the LTL freight - but it's not so bad once you get the hang of it.

First - you have to have a loading dock. No big deal here for me, but I know it can be an issue.

Second - since these guys don't own their own delivery trucks and the stuff they sell weighs a ton (literally) they have to rely on third party freight forwarders. I have had a few items damaged in shipment (through no fault of SJF), and they have always been very accomodating in helping me get the replacements with as little hassle as possible.

I always check with these guys first for any racks or shelving I need and now I have had them help me with some recent projects that have needed some small conveyor systems. They had exactly what I was looking for and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who needs any warehouse equipment.…
