Went to see a really good band play last night and it was totaled by the chromosome missing inbred locals. This place is in the "rich" part of Lubbock and is inhabited by some of the most repugnant people I have ever been around. You have some girl there with her mom who was obviously trying to get her married off to some rich guy. Beautiful girl, toad of a mother that was the most repulsive person I think I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I feel sorry for her, with mom around to show what she will grow into she hasn't got a chance. Beer selection, forget it. I was told by the dingbat behind the bar that "we're just a Coors light sort of place". I guess that means they are a canoe beer place and the normal customers are three fries short of a happy meal. The band was great (Darren Welch, Jessie Ballew, Erik on drums and I didn't catch this bass players name) but the clients will take 30 points out of your intelligence quotient immediately. I couldn't stand it and had to leave. Food, I have no idea since I couldn't stomach the place for that long. Service was ok as long as you are extremely patient and want a Light Beer only and are willing to gravel and beg a bit for it. Overall, the Band could possibly save the place for an hour or two but the seating was horrible the atmosphere was from the depths of Muffy and her mom hell. Depressing to see Darren playing there. Those guys are really really good and have been a pleasure every where else I have seen them. Go see Darren Welch group, just not there.
