I have been to this bar many, many times. Too many in fact. I don't know why I keep giving it chance after chance. Maybe because it's so close to where I live, and maybe because there aren't a lot of options in the Sugar Land area. It's a nice bar in a lovely location with very clean bathrooms, but the majority of the time, the people who go there are totally trashy, especially on Tuesday karaoke nights. I don't know where they're coming from. They can't be the convention attendees who stay at the Marriot at times because they're at least a decent crowd. Save for major holidays like Thanksgiving when all the college grads come home from to visit their parents, the majority of patrons don't seem to be made up of locals and for happy hour, they're much older (40s?). I've had several different bartenders and servers that were utterly disappointing. Not only were they slow and unattentive, but they are quite rude and have bad attitudes that make you wonder if they think you're lucky to be served at all. I'm ashamed to bring people from out of town here now. Positives for me: proximity to my residence, safe/well-lit/quiet location, clean bathrooms, ample parking and lack of crime/fights (SLPD does a good job as does security).
Pros: Sugar Land, no crime/fights, clean bathrooms, parking
Cons: Rude, slow servers with bad attitudes and bad drinks, unpleasant crowd
