Overrated!!. If you like burnt pizza that taste's like cardboard, this is the place for you! On a recent visit to CT my niece HAD to have Pepe's. After hearing all the reviews about it. What a dissapointment! The staff were RUDE and acted put out if you asked them anything. The menu is bland and on a wall, that's it. No menu's, nothing. And all they have is pizza and one salad? We ordered 2 pizza's. One pepperoni and the other sausage. YUK! When it arrived both the pizza's were burnt, soggy and looked like roadkill. The sausage on the pizza was pale and looked like it had been sitting around awhile. My husband said it tasted terrible. My pepperoni pizza tasted about equal to Domino's. And Domino's is a lot less! This place is WAY overrated! And they have an attitude like they are the best. Which, they aren't. We found another small italian place near by and their pizza far surpassed Pepe's. And the staff were super friendly, and all were family who owned the place! I seriously have no idea how Pepe's got so far! My niece was very dissapointed, as were we.…
