LOVE IT!
by what2do at Citysearch
I have stayed here three times now when I need to get out to the City of Angels and I LOVE IT! It is private, personal and cordial. The service and amenities are out of this world and my favorite activity is simply sitting in their poolside cabana with a beautiful cocktail!
The rooms are definitely boutique but yet simple and sensible. The location, ease of parking and proximity to everything off Palm Canyon Drive is PERFECT! Into Yoga, Tanning in the desert sun, or Food beyond your wildest desires . . . .what more can I say? You'll . . . LOVE IT!
Highly RECOMMEND it for your simple piece of mind knowing you'll be well cared for!
It's an EASY 5 STARS!
- Pros: Amenities, Location, Service, Ease of Parking (Valet) and great proximity to EVERYTHING!
- Cons: Price could be an issue, but overall, I felt it was a great value for such a wonderful treat and experience!
I'm Dying to Go Back!!!

I went here a few years ago and I really want to spend my birthday here this year(hoping someone who knows me sees this and surprises me). I felt like I had been transported to Sinatra's Palm Springs. I don't see how anything could be bad here...oh the massages were so so(and I only say that because I go to this awesome little place in LA now, Knead, and their massages are a third of the price and by far better!). but how bad is a massage really?
- Pros: Throwback to old PS, go off season great deals
Cool Hotel
by bigrob40 at Citysearch
This is yet another superb hotel by the KOR group. The hotel staff were very accommodating and the parking attendant/ bell boy was very helpful. They really do think of everything in this hotel. Look in the closet and you will find all kinds of goodies- snacks, ice cream, slippers, flashlights (for the darker areas of Palm Springs), and even a game of Twister! The pools are always heated, and you can go in them anytime. The continental breakfast was pretty good and I enjoyed it in the poolside patio in my room. They have a $24 resort fee and that includes wifi (and the internet isn't just for ONE laptop like some stupid hotels) and parking.
Typical of a Kor Hotel Property

What stands out the most is the friendly staff. George at the front desk and Eddie the valet guy offered amazing service. The staff is always willing to accomodate to any patrons requests. The price and cleanliness of the property is overrated though. Otherwise, you're mostly paying for the amazing hip ambiance as well as amazing service.
- Pros: Service, Staff, Ambiance
- Cons: attention to detail of the rooms.

A Desert Oasis!
by erikadykstra_citysearch at Citysearch
Comfy beds. Crisp, clean rooms. Manicured lawns. Three gorgeous pools. Love the Viceroy Palm Springs! Stayed here for a girls weekend. We took an outdoor yoga class in the morning. Laid out by the pool (we loved that one of the three was "kid friendly"--this was ideal for both families and non). Sipped cocktails. Ate an amazing dinner. The staff was great to us and we had a blast. When checking out, there was a small error on our bill, and they were quick to correct it. We will definitely return!
Great Hotel, Not-So-Great Staff
by tp2000 at Citysearch
I just spent two days at the Viceroy, and I wasn't impressed. Although the rooms were comfortable and very stylish, the overall ambiance of the hotel was ruined by non-stop noise and a shockingly ungracious front desk staff.
During our morning spa treatments, we were bombarded with constant noise from hedgetrimmers and leaf blowers rattling just outside. In the afternoon and evening, in the room and at poolside, we were disturbed by construction noise and loud power tools as they worked on hotel buildings. Unfortunately when we finally had to say something about the noise, the amateurish front desk staff could only mumble a "Sorry, they'll leave around 8:00pm". The front desk staff were not at all gracious or profesional when checking in, and the entire staff loafs around the grounds in sloppy Viceroy logo t-shirts rather than hotel uniforms. Bring earplugs and lots of patience with the employees.
- Pros: Stylish Rooms, Comfortable Beds, Location
- Cons: , Sloppy Staff, Poor Attitude
The Best and Most Hip Hotel
by jessmarieberman at Citysearch
Bar none this is THE best hotel in Palm Springs. The rooms, particularly the villas, are hip, beautiful, and luxurious. I'm getting married in Palm Springs and this is where I wanted all the guests including me to stay. The decor is phenomenal. The food is good (but you have to wait a while when they are busy) so just go somewhere else to eat but stay there to enjoy the glamour of Palm Springs modern!
- Pros: Awesome Decor, Hip Hotel, Cool Staff
- Cons: , Can get crowded
