A sweet little restaurant with wonderful food and friendly service

I?ve been a fan of Porchai since the day it opened. I started going as a quite respite for lunch but soon found myself inviting friends, business associates and family for lunch and diners and for special occasions. My wife and I come often to enjoy the flavorful dishes and the warm and friendly environment. We appreciate that each dish is prepared to order, that the food is fresh, and that the restaurant is always clean and neat. We enjoy each of their entrees and noodle dishes but our favorites include Pad Kee Mao, Joe?s Special and Pad Thai. Aside from our love of the food, we take pleasure in the personal attention by the owners, Kob and Nong. They raise the enjoyment beyond restaurants of any type or price range. Porchai is our favorite place to eat. We are there once a week.

Great little neighborhood eatery

I have been eating at Porchai since the day they opened. I like many things about this restaurant. First, I watch my fat and calorie intake and they use very little oil in the preparation. They also serve brown rice. When I leave I always feel satisfied but not stuffed. I eat alot of Thai food and although Porchai is not on the top of my list for best Thai food, it is consistent and tasty and serves the purpose. I always feel I got good food at a fair price. This is a great little spot to try for dinner or lunch when you want something good but not expensive. Give it a try with an open mind and I think you will enjoy.

• Cons: Could use more flavor. More Basil, more kick.

We fell in love with Porchai and probably eat there 3 times a week now. The food quality is top notch. The chef (Nang) is really picky about the ingredients. Everything is fresh. I"ve had all of their meals. All fabulous. Tonight was sweet and sour chicken. Just the right balance of taste...not sickly sweet like in Chineese restaurants. My favorite is Pad See-Ew. The Centre St. Crispy Duck is also really great.

The ambiance is not fancy, and they did have a problem on weekends getting the food out in a timely manner. But now they've brought in a couple of helpers on the weekend and everything is perfect.

Deserts are FANTASTIC. The mango sticky rice is great. The lemon sorbet in a real lemon is fabulous.

We see a lot of regulars there. Bring your beer or wine, there's no liquor license.

Great Food!

Generous serving proportions and reasonable prices. The menu has a great selection of delicious thai cuisine and the service was very friendly. Very highly recommended for anyone in the area...or even those who arent. Vegetarian friendly

Great Food

This is a fantastic place! I can not say enough about the food. If you are looking

for Fresh and Tasty food I suggest trying it. I eat here at least twice a week and the

girls that work there will treat you with kindness and do anything to make your dining

experience the best it can be!

The food is incredible and so reasonably priced and it is BYOB so you save on the cost of alcohol as well. The service is great and it is a small place where everything is made to order.

I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
