SOOO GREAT! I just had to comment!

I always check this site for places to go... After loosing Blue's number and forgetting their website, I had to look them up- I was so surprised to see such a negative review there! As often as I check this site, I've never felt compelled to comment- But I love Blue's so much that I just had to!

Blue's is awesome! I saw a lady with an amazing cut on curly hair and had to ask her where she got it done- she told me all about Blue's. After 22 years of having my hair botched by many a stylest, just by seeing this woman's hair cut I knew I had to call and set up an appointment!

They can be pretty booked sometimes, but I find it worth the wait! Their place is hip and funky.

All the stylests work together. They note your colors in a file so that they can remember what they've done. Also, the first color I had done there, they waited to see how it was going... after realizing that my hair absorbs color like none other and that it was ready after 10 minutes, they washed it... it was the first time that someone didn't walk away for 30 min and let my hair sit to become SO bold it looked unnatural and over processed- this was the first color I had that actually came out looking good! (Actually, it looked AWESOME!)

While waiting they offer beverages such as soothing teas and/or water to help make you comfortable. (For me it was helpful because I was really nervous about yet another person cutting my curly hair and it really soothed me. Also, it helped when I decided to make big changes to my hair that I was still a little apprehensive about!)

The first time you go, plan on it taking a little longer though... they do a consult with you about your hair type and such so that they know what they're working with and also so that they can help recommend some processes such as deep conditioning or clarifying wash, etc.

Very kind and sociable staff. They really take an interest in you and what you want.

I completely recommend Blue's! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

• Pros: Amazing Staff, incredible care and skill, focus on you and what YOU want! No pressure at all to buy products from them... they don't work on commission!
• Cons: For me and my budget, it seems a little pricey- just the same as most salons though and totally worth it though!
