I see alot of reviews of Hiro sighting a tough door, sketchy use of ATM cards and a questionable crowd. I must say I have never had any of these problems and have probably been to Hiro over a dozen times. The thing is Hiro hosts some of the best DJ/indie rock mid-week parties, GbH and Going both throw regular weekly parties here and the crowd tends to be a great mix of meatpacking hotness, hipsters with some cash, and scenesters who go to every big party. Drinks are expensive, and minimum credit card tabs are $50, I have never been here on a weekend, so I cant recommend it for those nights. But Weds and Thurs usually rock, get on the reduced list and arrive around 11 and I promise you a good time.
Pros: Great music, good crowd
Cons: Pick your night wisely, expensive.
