great food, good price
by jinxintheworld at Citysearch
Sioux Falls has no where else that serves food like this, anywhere else and they start with white bread and you have to demand and beg for anything else. The food is fresh with great texture, theres good variety and its reasonably priced for the quality your getting. The coffee drinks are good, and the deserts are great, but really come in one morning and try there rasbery white chocolate scones, there like two bucks and there awsome. Skip there frapachino drinks though.
A Gem for Travelers!

Took a driving family vacation to Mt. Rushmore from the east coast and passed through Sioux Falls along the way. Found this place in the AAA guide so stopped to check it out. What a treat. True European flair in the middle of the midwest! Stopped for breakfast and had coffee (they roast it on premises!), quiche and pastries (butter croissant and palmier (sp?)). Was so scrumptious, we decided to grab some lumch before we left town. Lo and behold, the lunch was just terrific too. Wide variety of great sandwiches on real artisan breads baked right there and soups to die for (try the tomato bisque or the shrimp & corn chowder - they're both mouth-watering). Restaurant was immaculate (restrooms elegant and CLEAN) and they staff was warm and friendly. If you're passing through - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
- Pros: good parking, great food, AMBIENCE
- Cons: It's in Sioux Falls
a little pricey for a cafeteria
by ewalk59 at Citysearch
Overall, this place seems a little pricey for a cafeteria. Some of the food is tastey, but it is not that unique or exceptional for the price. They should either get rid of some of the pre-fab food, lose the plastic-wear, or else make the prices more reasonable. The deserts looked good, but we already spent too much for a small lunch.
- Pros: big windows, close to stores
- Cons: pricey, line up for food
Too spendy

Is this a restaurant or a coffee shop? You walk around with your trays and eat with plastic cutlerty like a cheap coffee shop, but you pay a lot of money like a spendy restraunt.
- Pros: near walmart, near homedepot, near movies
- Cons: costly, small portions, pre-fab food

Spendy establishment

Has lunch at Rue 41, ordered the Reuben sandwich, they pulled it out of a cooler and added the sauerkraut to the pre-made sandwich and then grilled it. Was kind of small with a side of potato chips (greasy). Don't know why the jack up the price and add greasy chips to it. Pastries looked good, but looking at the baker job description on their website, they must use frozen dough, not made the made from scatch bread like real bakeries.
- Pros: Parking, Nice decorations
- Cons: Expensive, Pre-made food
Fabulous

I live in the NY area and was in Sioux Falls for a family event. Had breakfast and lunch at Rue 41 and couldn't have loved it more. I have so many choices where I live and really wish there was a Rue 41 near me. The staff was efficient and polite and the facility great. I'll go there again when I am in town!
- Pros: Delicious food, Unusual choices
