Was charged $249 a night for a musty, small room. Bellboys were rude, heat barely worked, even with the enormous racket it made, had to stand in tub for another person to squeeze into tiny bathroom, hotel smelled like hotdogs and cigarettes, was not offered a mini-bar key but was charged for minibar usage, and the parking situation was ridiculous. In addition to being charged over $500 for a 2 night stay, an additional hold of almost $600 is still on my account 2 days later. Everyone I've talked to at the hotel has been rude to the point of being aggressive and proudly incompetent. I could see paying so much for a room @ a hotel where I felt like I wouldn't be walking around on a scummy floor or be treated like a nuisance, but this place is a decrepit D-U-M-P.
Expensive, rude, dirty, bad parking, charge for internet access, reeks of stale cigarette smoke, bellboys ignore you or are outright rude and in the way, towels are stiff as burlap, blackout curtains would not close, charge for services not rendered, no minibar key was offered, light bulbs were burnt out in lamps (w/ ugly florescent bulbs, no less). I left 2 days ago and I'm still not done with this horrible experience!
- Pros: Had running water
- Cons: Everything else related to this hotel is a con, especially the rates - total ripoff.
