Everytime my family goes here we order the same thing, so for the 3 things we get, I think it is the best in town. When we pick a Thai place to go, we go here. However, the service is not consistently good, and it is usually sub par, but not bad enough to not go back. I've had great servers, but usually they are bleh.

Good food, great city view, friendly

We have been to Thai Orchid Salem location for a long time. The atmosphere is great. It is a beautiful restaurant. The food never disappoint. The service is sometime slow but very friendly. Pleanty of parking. We love their Pad Thai, Yellow curry with chicken, and Tom Yum chicken soup.

Best Pad Thai in Salem

I have been to many Thai restaurant; Thai Orchid is the best. The food is quite good and the service is good. We had Pad Thai, Red curry w/roast duck, and Thai BBQ chicken. They are very good, especially the Pad Thai noodle.

Great View With A Price

I came to Thai Orchid hoping for a lot more, considering there aren't many Thai restaurants in Salem that have any respectability. Located in the heart of downtown, on the second floor of a mall, it features a very decent interior, filled with plenty of space to seat many people. The tables are well kept and the decor is well done. The prices on the other hand are spendier than what I'm used to, but hey its downtown right? Sadly, the service is also worse than I'm used to (forgetful, doesn't listen, charged us wrong), but thats not any fault of downtown.
