There was a death in the family and I went to build a bear and made a bear that resembled my nephew. It was just something to hold on to and to love when you needed it. At first my sister said it didn't help but later on it turned out that it helped her throught some of those long nights. Just holding on to it.

Cheery workers help tykes select an animal "skin," stuff it with cotton, lace it up and choose its wardrobe. Separate stations allow kids to give their bears showers (using an air hose to blow off excess cotton), medical attention (to sew up any wear-and-tear wounds) and names (complete with birth certificates).
