A+ all-around!

What a seriously awesome diamond in the rough. I was rough upon entering but after two heavenly days of taking advantage of the soaks, scrub, steam, mugwort, heat and energy, topped off by a totally therapeutic body massage by Stephanie, I departed reborn in new skin and a much improved psyche. Wow! Wow! Wow wee! Gotta get back there, 7 hours away...
Great spa except bad employee

Olympus Spa is a great spa with great services. However, beware of the Massage Therapist Stephany (or Staphanie). She is rude and racist. I will never let her lay a finger on me ever again as long as I live and go to the Olympus Spa in Tacoma. I love this spa but the rude tone of voice of that particular one employee could turn your heavenly spa day to a hell spa day.
Relaxing, Lovely..

This spa is great. I LOVE their exfoliation scrubs and the pools. You will notice that everything was constructed to make customers feel comfortable and calm. It is such a positive and relaxing space for women. The nudity can make you feel a little apprehensive at first, but you'll soon see that all of the women there don't care and aren't paying any attention to you. Women of all shapes and sizes use their services.
The staff are really committed to your comfort, so don't be afraid to speak up if you need less pressure during a massage or have sensitive skin. One thing that new patrons tend to overlook is the mugwort pool. The food served at their little restaurant is delicious. Don't be afraid to try it!
- Pros: Clean/comfortable facilities, Relaxing, non-judgemental
wonderful place

I just got back from my first trip to Olympus, and I feel great. I was a bit apprehensive about being nude in front of everyone, but quickly got over it. The five different temperatures in the tubs and whirlpools allowed me to find just the right comfort zone and the three heated energy rooms were all very cozy and relaxing. I had a massage with Reid, and she not only gave me a wonderfully relaxing massage, she showed me some ways to stretch my tight muscle groups at home and gave me tips on how I could reduce my muscle tension. My only regret is that I didn't book a longer massage and more services. Now that I know you get your money's worth, I will be sure to return for a spa package sometime.
- Pros: great value, good services
- Cons: a little tricky to find
A great way to get rid of all daily stressers

This spa was a great experience for me. I love that it has my own oasis feel to it. I can roam around on my own time ( No time ). I got a massage from Janice and she was amazing. Made the total get away experience perfect. there food was delicious and the Korean scrub felt awesome I left feeling like a brand new woman. Thank you Gina and Janice and Olympus Spa employees for keeping this womens paradise practically perfect.
- Pros: Exceptional customer service
- Cons: Should have Hot stones on the menu
Amazing spa experience

They now have two locations to choose from: Tacoma (the older location) and Lynwood (the new location).
Set aside at least four hours for a truly full immersion spa experience. Absolutely get the Korean scrub and moisturizing treatment. Explore all the pools, sauna, steam room, and therapeutic rooms (charcoal, sand, etc). And don't forget to check out the Korean restaurant and even the tea service room.
I've explored other "full service" day spas but none with the variety of services available at Olympus. The employees and clients are all polite. And as another reviewer said, the diversity of clientel is a big plus. Everything about Olympus is rejuvenating for mind, body, and soul.
- Pros: extended hours
- Cons: locations are not around the corner from me
Came from Vegas to use this spa

I am a big time lover of Korean spas. Whenever I go out of town, the first thing I do is go online to check to see if there is a Korean spa anywhere. I knew about Olympus for a long time and I really wanted to go. I finally had my chance when I took a trip to Seattle. I was not disappointed at all. The facility itself is much like the Korean Spas in LA, but I do feel it might be even a little nicer in some regards. The sand and salt rooms were really fantastic! I received a body scrub, which is done in an open area with others receiving treatment and I got a massage, which is done in a peaceful, little private room. All for $125, you can't beat that! And there is something much more freeing and positive about the attitude of the women you are spa-ing with at a Korean spa. It is like you have finally found a place to be where REALLY no one cares about how you look, your flaws, your age, your weight, your ethnicity, how much money you have, whatever..... Everyone is perfect and fabulous!!! I would rather go to a Korean Spa than any high end spa anywhere, anytime.
- Pros: Thumbs UP!!!
- Cons: Gotta go all the way to Tacoma to enjoy it
Excellent services for the price!

Whenever I am in Tacoma, I spend about 5-6 hours at this spa. Although I was initially uncomfortable with being nude in front of other women (especially since I don't have a great physique), I got over it and actually enjoyed the services. I bought the full spa package, and the body moisturizer was my favorite! I also enjoyed the body massage. If you're modest like me, then you may feel uncomfortable at first. If not, then you'll enjoy the services and the price!
- Pros: Inexpensive, Friendliness, Good parking
- Cons: Nudity, Common treatment area, No pkg w/80 min mass.
Unexpexted expectation

I am really satisfied with the body scrub. My husband said that I might have a cultural shock because the spa style is Korean style. The scrubbing and moisturizing are done in open room with other people. Basically, this place has the best spa technically. My skin is smoother than a baby's butt.
- Pros: skill, facility
- Cons: no bathing suit
The best of relaxation and therapy

I love this place for its democratic and diverse atmosphere. You see all types, sizes and sorts of women here. Staff are great and one can spend an hour or a full day with no pressure whatsoever. The Korean restaurant is reasonalbe and interesting.
Enjoy!
- Pros: atmosphere, cost, services
- Cons: location
